Have your mob just pinched our Jonathon Walters, Ken? Top bloke will give all and is reliable. Can't understand why we let him go.
I wasn't over excited at the signing, Togo - 33 years old and all that - but i read an article in The Sentinel, written by a Martin Spinks, in which he calls Walters a modern day Stoke hero. Then goes on to explain why. Made me rethink on the transfer and it will be very interesting to see just how he figures in The Ginger One's plans.
My first port of call on a Saturday is 'horses for courses' and i hope those i've chosen continue their love affair with the respective tracks. The prices aren't that great, but if all 4 win, i'll certainly not be complaining:-)

1.50 San; Battaash @ 11/4
2.25 San; Greenside @ 4/1 (Win single also)
3.25 Bev; Stanghow @ 9/1 (Win single also)
5.00 Hay; Brogan @ 3/1

20p lucky 15, 50p e.w. acca = £6 if all placed, £694 if all win - 365

Have also had a small punt on Ulysses @ 9/1 in the 3.35 San (Rev f/c with Decorated Knight) but my main bet of the day comes in the 6.40 at Nottingham where i have had a quite decent bet on Socialites Red at 5/1. Absolutely loves this track with 2 wins (both over CD) and 2 placed runs from just the 4 visits.

Walters has a great record with the Irish National team as well Ken. Well thought of over there as well. Has the knack of getting that vital goal, and will chase a lost cause all day long despite his age. Good luck.

Ahh well, after a great start it went downhill. Still a bit of my stake back on a false double with the non runner. Well done with Ulysses Ken.
Managed 2 winners in the lucky 15 with a win single on the 9/1 shot Stanghow. Then Ulysses obliged and, while still making a decent profit on the day, totally mystified by Socialites Red's poor run. Took a big lump out of the profits though i was tempted to lump a bit more on it once Ulysses had won. Every cloud.........................

Yes Ken well picked today by you, Still I may do better next week. Don't much bother with the night racing or anything below group 3 but enjoy my Saturday flutter. Soon be able to have a footie punt. 2 years ago I picked 9 correct results and collected nearly £1400 for a £5 acca. What a weekend that was. :))
