Can't stand Harry Hill either.
Doddy was wonderful. Watching the Audience With last night, I was reminded of what Roy Hudd said if him: he'd hit you with quickfire gags, relentlessly. I realised that I actually didn't get half the jokes: I was still trying to puzzle one out and realise he was about 3 gags ahead of me. But it didn't matter.
And he sang a song at the request of Dora Bryan, which he managed to sound touching while at the same time joking all the way through.
The best line might have been Frank Bruno's tho:
"How tall are you lying down Frank" gagged Doddy
"It depends what I'm looking up at" came the reply.
