Here it is again. It seems to come around quicker than ever as I get older. Good day all round if you like your sporting events. We are in for a long day. :))
I must say that I echo Ken's sentiments regarding one trainer having 7 runners in the Derby just because he has the richest owners as his colour bearers. I feel it should be limited to 3 runners from any one stable but it is not likely to happen is it. I have left the Derby out of my "punt" but have done little e/w on the well priced Gosden runner. I have done the ITV7 and a little e/w acca on the 7 as well. You may notice that I have stayed with horses that I have already picked for the most part and just hope that ignoring an old favourite in the 3.45 doesn't bite me for the third time in as many weeks. (Duke of Firenze) Good luck all who have a flutter.

Politicise @4/1 2.00Eps.
Veracious @2/1 2.35Eps.
Copper Knight @15/2 3.45Eps.
Sextant @2/1 5.15Eps.

£1.00 win Acca. 40p win doubles & Trebles. £5.00 Total stake.
I have also had a little e/w on Humanitarian in the Derby @66/1.
ITV7 Politicise, Veracious, Battle of Waterloo, Bye Bye Hong Kong, Dorchester House, Copper Knight, & Humanitarian. If they come in...….well.

Quite a few small field events away from Epsom, Togo, so i'm sticking with the main meeting for today's Lucky 15.

2.35; Nyaleti @ 7/2
3.45; Copper Knight @ 3.45 (Rev f/c with Duke Of Firenze)
5.15; Soto Sizzler @ 11/4
5.50; Spanish City @ 7/2

Win singles, 20p Lucky 15, £1 e.w. acca. 4 placed = £14, 4 winners = £937. No fortunes but it will keep me going for a day or two :-)

ITV 7; Nayef Road, Nyaleti, Reeves, Bye Bye Hong Kong, Just Benjamin, Copper Knight & Broome. £1 e.w. acca; 7 placed = £160, 7 winners = £299,306.

Lucky 7; The Trader, Contrive, Zaaki, Dancin Boy, Duke Of Firenze, Sir Dragonet & Spanish City. £1 e.w. acca; 7 placed = £234, 7 winners = £345,749.

Also done the placepot at Epsom; 1-7-7-4-3-10

Did you see my 6/1 'special' on the Oaks day thread?

Good luck with your selections :-)
Copper Knight @ 9s (less for the e.w.)

Yes Ken.....Saw your W.H. "special" After I posted, then noticed that there had been some additions to the thread. Looks fair enough for 6/1. The Joshua fight might be over before the football is finished if it goes to extra time and pens. (^_*)
Joshua is fighting in America Togo...I don't think the football will go on that long.
Question Author
Just my little "joke" Talbot. KO in 20 seconds perhaps. Note(^_*)
I remember commenting on AB earlier that the combined prices of the next fights for Wilder, Fury and Joshua were such that, if you placed a tenner on, you'd win about 90p. Wilder's already done his bit - and it was a 'bit' :-/ And it looks as if Wilder is going for the rematch with Ortiz rather than face Joshua.
The next time i hear someone say "Mark Johnstone trains 'em tough" i'll.........................................................
Something surely amiss with Copper Knight in the 'Dash', Togo? Never got in a blow :-//

Having done a rev f/c with Broome and Sir Dragonet, i have decided to nail my £5 colours to the mast of the former @ 5/1.
Much as i hate to admit it, O'Brien's decision to run 7 has been vindicated in that he had the 1st, 3rd, & 4th - only fellow Irish trainer Kevin Prendergast prevented him from having a clean sweep. Still don't like it though :-(
Question Author
Hopeless this end Ken. Copper Knight didn't look at all balanced Ken. Some horses just cannot act on the switchback downs, even the sprints are not flat and have a camber. I know that you know that...….just musing. Live to fight another day. Settle down for the footie later but will not bother with a bet, just hope for a good game with no bother or controversy.
Well there was no bother (as yet) and very little controversy, Tog, but i'd hardly call it a good game. That must be Liverpool's least effective match this season. Maybe what has happened in this competition thus far led us to believe we were in for a classic :-(

What about the fight Ken? Couldn't believe it this morning. Have to break a rule and pay for catch up viewing. Got to see this.
