Put this up in case I disappear later.
Racing's a bit bleh again, imo.
I've got a free £5 bet which has to be used today
but I don't think I'll risk it. ;-)
Often heard punters say 'wouldn't back that with the bookie's money'
Unless I get inspired that could actually happen today.
See if my new tipster has a flying machine lined up for today.

11 year old, spice. Agree with you re today's menu. Still, if you don't have a bet you could be walking around lucky and not even know.

My old neighbour called.
Was going to say, it'll be Cheltenham before we know it.
Start of the flat then Aintree.
Best time of the year, Spring, imo.
Did you catch that race, yesterday, Togo?
Found out our horse was about 15yrs old. It then drifted out to 11/2 at one point. ;-(
Stalls opened and they didn't see which way he went. Lol.

Watched it last night Spice. Laughed like a drain again. The racing is a bit of a pick n mix again and I am just waiting for the nrs to be more final but I did look at the ITV7 last night. When I had made tentative choices pending on whether they were to be scratched, I realised that I had picked 3 that were at big odds. So I did a quick 50p e/w trixie last night before the odds disappeared. Soldier On Parade @25/1 2.25K. Friends Don't Ask @66/1 3.15N. Slate House @12/1 3.35K.
Nicholls has 'farmed' one or two of the races at Kempton in recent times and it wouldn't be the biggest surprise if he had another good day.
With that in mind, i've just done a straightforward L15/e.w. acca on; Ecco (5/1), Paso Doble (10/1), Atholl Street (7/4) and My Way (4/1) Pos £16 for places, £1,300 for winners.
Time to study the handicap fields, now.

15 sounds better, ken. Especially for a sprinter.
Poetic Licence, innit.
I was looking at it's form after reading the conversation between you and Togo and, not for the first time, i had to wonder at just how a horse can suddenly burst back into form so late in it's racing career. That was it's hat-trick, yesterday after some quite poor showings, all at Dundalk.

He has the joint fav in the last at Kempton. Wouldn't be the biggest shock if his other horse, unraced, Megan up, 10's from 14's won.
Of course, anything could spring a surprise in a 'bumper' but you'd struggle to fall.
I tell a lie. After checking the odds that I took I see that they are 28s, 66s, & 14s. Haha that would be handy. Agree about Spring being so welcome, praps more so this year than ever. We are already getting sorted in the garden. 600ltrs compost etc already on site. Spuds being chitted off, seeds on order and pots and tubs being tidied one by one.

The other talking horse yesterday came 3rd at 22/1. Long way off the first 2 though.
// i had to wonder at just how a horse can suddenly burst back into form so late in it's racing career.//

Maybe the wily old grey realises that he had better start making the effort if he is to keep his cosy stable. :))

Please don't talk about work, Togo. I came over quite faint, there.
ITV7 Sorted. Moss Gill, Soldier On Parade, Felix, Lady Tremaine, Atholl Street, Friends Don't Ask, Slate House. As stated above did a little bet last night on the long odds trio, am also looking at a punt that includes the Kempton 1.15,4.10, and Newcastle 5.00. Get back to you on that.
Encore Champs @6/1 1.15K.
Lady Tremaine @3/1 2.45N.
Monsieur D'Arque @13/2 4.10K.
Burrows Diamond @12/1 5.00N.

£1.00E/W Acca 30p E/W Doubles &Trebles.

ITV 7; L Riddiford, Tritonic, Felix, Sandorac, Atholl Street, Crossley Tender and Cap Du Nord.
Main bet;

3.15 N'c; Crossley Tender @ 6/1 (5 places)
3.35 Ke; Cap Du Nord @ 17/2 (6 places)
3.43 Li; Arabescato @ 4/1
4.25 N'c; Ascot Du Bruyere @ 9/2

Win singles, 20p Lucky 15, £1 e.w. acca. 4 placed = poss £20 return, 4 winners = poss £2,157 return. Each way component placed with Sky.

Had £3 on L Riddiford - took 6s early on - :-))

Best of luck, all.
Nothing to brag about as regards the geegees but did my usual 2-1 correct score Patent + 3 x £2 wins. Only Cardiff let me down by drawing 1-1 - t'other 2 obliged, Brentford and Barnsley. Returned £87 from my tenner stake.
Hopeless all round here Ken. Even the low priced fancies came in second. Glad I didn't do a rugger bet as well. :((
