A week ahead of the 2022 Masters tournament, 21 of those due to take part have their final warm-up preps in the Valero Open Golf, beginning tomorrow. I have forsaken the tournaments favourites and, not really looking for the winner, have gone for 3 outsiders. Basing my bets similar to the way Togo does his rugby bets, i've done them to finish in the top 8 and the top 12. Bets are with W Hill and Sky (who offer 8, 10 and 12 places)

Haven't begun studying yet, Ellipsis, but as per usual, i will be guided by the stats.

Just had a quick look at 3 sites and one name is mentioned as a potential 'player' on all 3 - Matt Fitzpatrick. Although he is yet to win on North American soil, some of the 'shrewdies' are saying he is a tad overpriced @ 45/1 (8 places with 365) and 40/1 (11 places with Sky) Could be a decent e.w. punt at those prices.
Just heard that Woods is yet to decide whether or not he will take part. He will make the decision come 'game time. Hardly instills confidence for any Tiger fans.

Yes, it is a tough one but i always like to have a punt as it makes it a more interesting watch. I'm only going in with a bank of between £20 and £25, so i'll not be licking tarmac at mealtimes if i blow it all:-)
I get where you're coming from with Hovland. He's bound to come good on the big stage one day.
