First 3 came in, giving me over £140 even if the 4th boiled. Cashed out both the Lucky 15 bet and the e.w. bet with 365. Total £500.48p. 4th horse came 3rd (which gave me a further £23.60 with Sky :-)

I went to the greyhound racing at Powderhall in Edinburgh years ago.

I put my money on the dog who seemed to offload the biggest amount of poo prior to the race. It was a surprisingly successful method of picking winners.

I ought to point out that with 4 winners, i stood to win £4,308 for my £6 stake - £2,181 from 365 and £2,127 from Sky. Cashing out for the £500 with 365 and rejecting the £339+ offer from Sky seemed the right thing to do :-)

I rarely bet, but on a day at York races (for my birthday with my daughters) I came out over £100 to the good. Proper champagne, not prosecco ensued. My best bet was £20 on Brexit and Trump winning - did very nicely thank you! I'm still waiting to find another one like that. :)
