Today's ITV7 is made up of 4 races from Kelso (1st leg 1.50), 2 from Newbury, and the (now almost) obligatory trip across the sea for one race from the Curragh.

A cursory glance at the cards shows me there are some decent handicaps in those 7 races for me to get my teeth into. So, it's a quick shower, then heads down and look in.

Following the stats - such as they are - i cannot get away from the more fancied runners. Still, if they oblige..........

2.05 N'b; Heltenham @ 9/2 - 4 places
2.33 BoD; Blueberry Wine @ 8/1 - 4 places
2.40 N'b; Ruby Island @ 11/2 - 5 places

Win singles, 20p L15, 50p e.w. acca (365), £1 e.w. acca (Sky). 4 placed = £25, 4 winners = £2,691.

ITV7, above qualifiers plus; Earls, Jet Legs, Bonttay and Forward Plan. £1 e.w. acca.

Don't know how i missed it yesterday, but my fav jumps trainer, Nicky Henderson, had a 50/1 winner with Nick dB on board. Had i seen it - and noted the price - i would certainly have had a small e.w. punt on it. I've never seen a horse from that stable at such a huge price. The horse, On the Blind Side (who hadn't won for 2 years) was completing a very tasty 635/1 treble. If only hindsight was foresight:-/

Like you Ken the first 4 races in the ITV7 almost picked themselves. Confined my punt to the 7 runners and split it into two bets as per. Off out soon try to get a walk now the wind has dropped a tad. Failing that a pint of draught Bass looks likely. :)) ****E/W Acca Win Doubles & Trebles. ###E/W Trixie. Good luck all you punters.

Couple of decent winners, Ruby Island let both e.w. bets down. Also had the placepot over at Kelso, paid £30.50.
First and 3rd in my 'late race' bet have both won, Triggered and Cyclop (2nd leg Ballabawn fell) and i'm waiting for El Hombre.
All in all, a fairly decent day with quite a healthy profit.

Only 1 for me today so far. Less Legacy @ 14/1 Shame I only had £2.50 ew on it.

Ruby Island let me down as well.

Hoping Cuban court comes in at 17.20 to save the day.

My day just got much better, El Hombre coming fast and late under Billy Loughnane to win by about a length and a half @ 5/1 - t'other 2 were 13/2 & 4/1 :-)
Now done a little Patent/e.w. Treble in the last 3 at Wolverhampton; Aberama Gold, Glorious charmer and Red Evelyn for a poss £443.

By the way, Klaz, i don't do 'tips'. They are just my selections which, for the most part, are often best avoided :-))
