Saturday Punt - 14 Oct 2023
As it ought to be, just 2 meetings provide the action for today's ITV7. HQ open proceedings with a 2.00 pm start, followed by 3 more from the track, interspersed with 3 from York - which is where i'll beπ.
As per, look for a guy wearing Claret and Blue somewhere near the winning post.

What colour is it, Dusty, i'll have a look for it. You should have known better than to go on Friday the 13th!!
Just about to have a bite to eat and a pint in the King's Arms. Weather not too bad but not warm enough to eat outside by the Ouse - locals say they expect a drop or two of the wet stuff later.
Main bet;
2.25 York; Apollo One @ 14/1 - 6 places
2.40 N'm; Grand Providence @ 10/1 - 8 places
4.10 York; September Power @ 13/2 - 4 places
4.15 Che; Benassi @ 15/2 - 5 places
Win singles, 20p L15, 2 x £1 e.w. accas. 4 placed = £119, 4 winners = £21,538.

£2.50 e.w. free bet (Sky) Blazeon Five @ 33/1, 2.40 N'm - 8 places
Also done a L15 and e.w. acca with 4 of Fahey's (stable's in decent nick) but will be backing against them on the course.
Best of luck, all.
Afternoon punters. It's a bit cold to be misplacing your clothes Dusty. Meanwhile I am suffering with a nasty dry cough, stiff neck and aching all over(that sounded like Johnyn Kidd and the Pirates)A couple of days in for me and a drop of something in my tea. Done the ITV7 and a punt from those races that are worth bothering with.
Significantly @6/1 2.25Y
Vino Victrix @16/1 2.40NM
Carolus Magnus @9/1 3.35Y
Spirit Dancer @17/2 3.50NM
E/W acca trebles and Doubles
Add City of Troy, Assailant and Arabian Crown to complete the ITV7 runners. Good Luck.
I thought a blimp had escaped it's moorings.
Morning ken. I wrote a reply to you on Sandy's pie thread but it just grew too darn long and I scratched it.
Saturday, I thought the racing looked a bit iffy and I knew I'd watch the Rugby anyway. Had 3 bets, 3 winners. Just lately, I've done terrible on that Skybet 'Money-Back' offer but I couldn't resist it and did the Baldwin winner@ 3/1. Then the 2 easy Sam Thomas winners at Chepstow (both 5/1)
Then bet the 2 outsiders in the Rugby. (both won) I was invincible (so I thought)
Sunday (shudder) started in the same vein. Bet Eng/Fiji to both score a try in the first and second half. Half time I was almost chuckling at my cleverness.
Little did I know that, at the very same time, England were developing a cunning plan to kick their way to victory. βΉ
After that relatively minor reverse I went on full tilt. Banco on France (I'd already bet them to win the Tournament) Merde! I'll never ever bet on Rugby again,,,ever' I said to myself.
Noticed this morning the fools were offering 15/8 Nz to beat SA in the final. I mean, if they're giving it away, what could I do. π
Juiust seen your post, Spicey. I know exactly how you feel when it comes to flogging a dead horse. 3 times now iv'e included Man City's Kovacik to have at least one shot on target in my 'build your own odds' bets with WH. And 3 times he's let the bet down. Last night was the last straw; he had 3 or 4 chances to have a pop at goal last night, but chose to pass, instead. Won't be backing him again, that's for sureπ
