Is it true that you should digest whey protein supplement within 20 mins of exposing it to water?

if so Why?

how much should i take if i eat healthily and work out 3 times per week? when is the best time to take it?

I have been advised to take 25 grams in my water while working out - so just 75g per week - is this good advice?
