I get great pleasure from surfing the AB topics - is it just me or is the mix of sensible and silly just right? The advice I've been given has been spot on (for computing, crossword puzzles and other little sticky situations), but equally some of the numbnuts that post on here do give me a good chuckle (particularly in the law section)! My other half also wants to know what the meaning of life is...please don't say 42 - that's a cop out!!!

Aw bless stonekicker! I know exactly what you mean. Apart from a few deliberately nasty people, the majority here is a nice, diverse, interesting bunch and will try their best to help you. And when you need a good friendly banter, just come on here! Only, well..ignore the nasty stuff, but that goes without saying!

Strange - I thought the meaning of life was death and taxes...and it turning round and giving you a jolly good kick in the nuts when you are busy smiling the other way! Perhaps I am just overworked and underpaid this week and I am turning cynical...been on nights and it is warping my mind!

I enjoy a quick surf on AB, mostly CB though unless I have a sensible query, which I have to say is rare.

I tend to do it in fits and starts.

No idea about the meaning of life, will let you know when I become enlightend!

I find that AB is a very good mix of sites. If you have a serious Q about anything really as long as you post it in the appropriate catagory then you will always get good helpful advice. If you just want to talk rubbish and have a bit of fun then you can't beat chatterbank, most of the folk on there are just what it says on the tin just keep away from the arguements and all is Luvvly Jubbly.
