How fantastic it would be for Rafa Nadal to win all 4 Majors?!
15 Answers
Wonder what you all think here- please let us know especially if you support Rafa Nadal :-). Would truly love Rafael Nadal to win all 4 majors, only one that eludes him at present is The US Open. No Spaniard before has ever achieved what Rafael Nadal has achieved in tennis- this in itself is quite phenomenal. Yet, he is a true champion in every sense of the word- he has a fantastic diverse sublime game of tennis- a true beauty to watch, he has fantastic looks , fantastic charisma , fantastic passion + power, fantastic sense of fair play, fantastic respect for every player he ever plays + a fantastic sense of humour- he is a dreamboat ;-) Hoping that Rafa will continue for another 5 years at least ,at the top of his game + win that elusive US Open. Good luck Buen Suerte Rafa- Vamos Rafa :-) !! Dios te bendiga ;-) Fantastico! Abrazos, hugs, Beatrice :-)

Vibrasphere- Sure he is good looking yet your point was not very dynamic as want a conversation on his tennis skills + all that he may achieve in the near future. Yet, moreover, admire him as a tennis player as well as him as an individual- he is just a top guy( big hearted), gentle, fair, sportsmanly like in an old fashioned marvellous kind of way + all he has achieved as a Spanish tennis player is pretty phenomenal. In love with this style of his varied play. In love with the fact that he is Spanish- adore everything Spanish. Yet not in love with him as am happily married thanks.
Some sensible comments soon, please :-)

Thank you milo1978 :-) Oh my gosh, you are lucky to have seen him up close!! Hope to one, day, too!! His tennis is powerful yet dynamic. He thinks whilst out on the court + adapts his game to each player he meets. He seems to constantly be changing his game, too. Amazed at how many point he won at the net- he will be a serve and volleyer next!! Truly, though, spectacular to see not only his power yet to witness the subtle variety of his game too. A real artist. They said Henman had good hands yet surely no one has better hands than Rafa?! Look forward to each match that watch as never know what strengths he will bring to the court each time around. He has tenacious mental strength too as you pointed out Milo1978 :-) Thanks. Hugs, abrazos, Beatrice :-)

How can you say that Rafael Nadal is a robot? Nothing could be further from the truth either!!! You can say that about Federer yet not Rafa - his game is far from robotic + he has great charisma. Not sure why Rafael does not receive more support here in the UK either?! Like my champions, whatever sport, to be dynamic. Love snooker- like Ronnie O Sullivan as he can play with both hands equally well + is unpredictable emotionally as well as in his play- makes it all the more exciting to watch. Same with Rafa- you never know what to expect + he has courage + compassion beyond most other players too. Rafa is quite shy in some ways yet he plays with great power and prowess. The contrasts in Rafa are immense yet he remains a great champion. He most probably will be around for the next 5 years + hope he wins many more majors especially against the real robots in the game!! Vamos Rafa!! Ciao, Bea

Like him as a player. The fact that he is good looking is just an added bonus- not the reason am a big fan of him. Only think with my dynamic brain - Vibrasphere. Tennis has been my passion for many years. Support Andy Murray whom feel just as excited about as Rafa since Andy is the most exciting player to emerge in British tennis since the great Fred Perry himself. Wish had a time machine so could watch Fred Perry play, too ;-) Andy will win a Grand Slam yet not sure if it will be this year or next. Rafa like Andy are not robots on or off the court + adore their style of tennis too- fantastic to watch, most sublime :-) Hoping some true tennis fans with depth of tennis knowledge will comment here, also, soon :-) ;-) Warmest wishes, Bea :-)

vibrasphere I'm with you here. Beatrice is obviously besotted with Rafa - don't see the attraction myself. Very good tennis player and seems to be a nice guy with it, and not many nice guys get to the top. It would be good if someone in the modern era achieved the 'slam' but considering Rafa's physically punishing style of play I don't think I can see it happening.
I prefer Federer but having said that have just ordered a DVD of the Nadal/Verdasco match.

My dad loves cricket Vibrasphere :-). Personally, not my cup of cha( neither is football). Other sports other than tennis that like:- snooker, rugby, athletics, cycling, equestrian events like show jumping, dressage and eventing( not horse racing), ice skating, Winter and Summer Olympics, rowing( Cambridge + GB),badminton, martial arts and swimming. If we all liked the same sports or sporting individuals it would be dull- variety is the spice of life :-) To go back to the tennis- loved watching McEnroe when was a little child as he was fun + funny as well as hugely talented as a tennis player + now love listening or reading his tennis commentaries/observations. Warmest wishes to you Vibrasphere + to all here, hugs, Bea :-)
Was a huge Tim Henman fan- watched him from the court play twice at Wimbledon, too! Saw him win + seen him loose- live. Yet, Tim Henman whilst he had great hands, a true gentleman + reached the semi finals on more than one occassion he never won a Grand Slam( mostly due to being up against Pete Sampras his mate yet he was not quite passionate enough either methinks). Yet, he was a nearly man sadly. Andy Murray has a real chance to win a grand slam in the next couple of years even with Fed + Rafa + Djokovic around as he has beaten all of these anyhow- Tim Henman thinks so, too. Murray has the game, the belief + the courage to at least win 1 or 2 grand slams in his career- the first British male since Fred Perry- this excites me enormously!! Whilst in nearly every sport support British first, then Spanish then Argentinean- am very GB patriotic + am very excited when a Brit does well in any sport can assure you. Not besotted with anyone other than my husband either ;-) :-)!! Hugs, Bea :-)
