Is it easier to snorkel with fins/flippers? I'm concerned about the weight limitations for aircraft baggage and am already taking my own mask and snorkel.

I have dived several times there, fins are a must even for snorkling, you can float along without moving your arms and keep moving with the fish, fins float so assist bouyancy. no need to buy fins where you need boots, just slip ons. Enjoy
If you're worried about weight limits you will be probably be able to hire flippers from your hotel (assuming they have a dive hire place).
