Is professional snooker an honest game?

If someone agreed to throw a game wouldn't unusual betting patterns show that there was something crooked going on?

I think that's how they get caught.

unfortunately when ever big money is involved, what ever the sport, there is always somebody willing to pay to "Fix" games and usually somebody willing to take the money and risk not getting caught. This sort of thing has popped up in most sports over the years, some times they get caught but it makes you wander how many times they've got away with it
