I know someone who was accused of stealing some money from their employers, they could not afford to appeal against it, they were given a lot of hours community service, thankfully not gaol. the community service has now finished, does anyone know how they should set about getting on the working ladder again, many thanks, just one of lifes worries.

the same way anyone else would.. but with a criminal record it may prove more difficult.

Just from scratch -but the fact theyre willing must be a positive.
The fact you said gaol indicates Eire but may be North -i'm not sure of your benefits .What is expected of this person in the Benefit system.This info might help.
