Playing spin bowling

Does a spin bowler find it easier to play spin bowling than a non spinner ?

I dont think it matters much jennyphoebe,in general spin bowlers or any bowler for that matter is not that gifted a batsman.

Thank you for that. I just wondered if someone like Shane Warne might be able to read the spin better as it was being bowled.

plenty Bowlers are gifted batsmen,jenny, Garry Sobers for one.

I did say 'in general'. You've picked three of the greatest cricketers of all time ,two of them all rounders so maybe we should include Imran Khan, Richard Hadlee and maybe Freddie Flintoff and no doubt several others but for lesser mortals, I refer to my previous post.:-)

Muttiah Muralitharan...wickets 1146......batting avg 10.25
Shane Warne............ wickets 1001......batting avg 10.18
Not even they can read spin very successfully.....
