What a terrible boxing decision on saturday night.
Did anyone watch the fight on saturday between Amir Khan and Paul Mc Closkey. Mc Closkey got a cut on his eyebrow after a clash of heads in the 6th round. The doctor walked into the ring and within about 10 seconds the fight had been called off and went to the judge's scorecards. I have never ever before seen that happen so quickly. They would always take the cut boxer to his corner to at least make an effort at patching the eye up. I have seen much worse cuts. Does anyone else think there was a worry that Khan may have been beaten and they were looking for any excuse to get the fight over?
Also to hear Khan start to talk about money money money straight away after the fight really put me off him. I have actually lost all interest in him from now on and he is a coward if he doesn't offer Mc Closkey a rematch.

It would have been a TKO anyway dunno what the score cards have to do with it. This happens in boxing. The doctor is there for a reason. Looking at the cut after wards there was no way that could have been patched up within the rules, it would ave opened further probably blinding the boxer and leaving him open to real damage, correct decision.
