Pashley Ladies' Bicycle.
87 Answers
I am thinking of buying a Pashley bike. The creme de la creme of ladies' pushbikes, apparently. However, they don't come cheap - the one I'm looking at is over £600 (but it does have a rather appealing front wicker basket, sprung leather seat and leather handlebar grips).
Before I part with such a ridiculous amount of money, has anyone got a Pashley? Are they the Rolls Royce of bikes or are you just paying through the nose for a posh name and reputation?

Ta fluffster - I'm not very good at doing links. I want the racing green one, or one in cream with tan accessories.
How often will I use it? Errrm, to bike into town if it's not raining or windy. And to bike round to Tara-ra-bum-ti-eh's when I know I'm going to be drinking and don't want to drive. And only in late spring, summer, early autumn. Unless it's cold. So, not that often really....

May I recommend these? I have one. They're OK for sedate cycling

I live in a very flat town eccles - and not that far from Cambridge. In fact, it was in Cambridge I found myself on Saturday which gave me the idea of getting one as I saw a rather lovely one, being ridden by a woman looking as though she'd walked straight from a Timotei advert. I thought "I could go for that".
