Men's Semi Final
I was interested to hear Boris Becker say he thought it was Murray's 'time' this year. I sincerely hope Nadal's ankle injury does not hamper his game. I would love to see Jo-Wilfried Tsonga in the final, he has brought some humour to the game and good conduct throughout. Whatever the outcome, I hope the 2 matches are corkers - they have the potential.
For the first time ever, I have little or no interest in the ladies' championship. I think the grunting may have put me off.

The other was wonderful tennis - how much did I enjoy the close exchanges and all the net shots? Makes a good change from solid base line play.
Tomorrow I shall tune in to watch Liam Broady in the Boys' Championship ☺

A great pity it is yet another year without a British champ.I think its a simple matter that although Murray is a great player ,probably the best we have had for many a year, he just is not capable or good enough to go the extra step to become a Grand Slam winner.I fear he will never do it, but I hope I am wrong.

The problem isnt the lack of tennis played at schools, it is the lack of competitiveness they teach at school nowadays, together with the costs involved in playing tennis to a high level from an early age. Tennis lessons with a performance coach are £40+, and performance players need three lessons minimum per week, together with good hitting partners.
