I've told you before, stop posting threads about me!
I never watch football JJ Rugby on the other hand is definately my sport of choice, always has been.
I've been on the end of a couple of bigger hits than that! And considering im only 5'8" and 12 n half stone, being cut in half by 18 stones hurts!!
The one you have to watch out for in the World Cup is Sonny Bill Williams for New Zealand, a centre and a professional heavy weight boxer, he's a monster!

LOL, chuck

Well, you are tall enough to be a rugby player.

One of the tall ones who catches the ball?

missn ...

Well, yes. Hmm ... tricky for me. I do go to watch football sometimes, and I've only been to rugby when BFs have taken me.

But I'd rather be in a pub with rugby guys than football guys. They are all so confident, and more like gentlemen, and ... well, less "oiky" ??

I'm going to brush up on rugby before the World Cup. I can feel a lot of pub sessions coming on.

=0)

pa___ul ... I haven't heard of Sonny Bill Williams.

It's a bit like being knocked down by a freight train.
I played rugby but being 5ft 4 and just over 10 stone, the tackles hurt ! actually every impact hurts. So I stopped playing!

Triggy ... I can't cope with that image this early in the day !!!
I certainly wouldn't mind being tackled by a few internationals, Sebastien Chabal, Mirco Bergamasco, Richie Gray, mmm mmmm mmmm!

Triggy ...

In a big bath, with the rugby team and a bar of soap, there'd be plenty of cleaning done !!

Oh, poop.
Trigger, I don't recall ever 'washing each others tackle', we had showers anyway. I imagine girlie footballers might have these baths though.... :-)
Ooh I can JJ lol :D :D :D

And yep I totally agree that rugby players/watchers do tend to be a lot more 'gentlemenly'. Football fans in general (and IMO) tend to be much more loutish and I have never heard of any violent rivallry between rugby fans unlike that which has been frequently witnessed at FB matches.
sorry JJ I can't see faceTube links at work, would the tackle happen to be wilko on Ntamack or Lewsey on Rogers by any chance? There was also a good one by Skinner on a Samoan years ago but I can't find that anymore.

You're right the Soccerball players would have to have their eyelashes sewn up after any proper tackle!
Have to agree with Missnemesis, on remembrance day I recall the rugby players all stopped the game and stood quietly on the field, remembering the fallen, and we could still hear the shouts and whistles on the football pitch next door....
Ignorant t**ts.
''egg chuckers, they all get in a big bath together and wash each others tackle''

^ Typical comment from a Cricket loving nonce ;-p
this has its fans... in fact there's another youtube video somewhere pointing out the brokeback mountain implications
