M R in athletics

Watching athletics on television recently I noticed that abbreviations were given following the result of an event such as S B which I know means "season`s best" but there was one which I have not seen previously namely "M R".Does anyone know what this abbreviation means?

I can only think of Maiden Run but that usually applies to horses!
