As I've said elsewhere Johnno was let down badly by senior players. He gave them an inch and they took yards, not just one! Either way, looks like Tindall is the fall guy for the poor showing by England at the RWC.

his private life has everything to do with it, when he and some of the team go out on the lash, make arses of themselves, and then play so poorly that they should be been booed home. You don't expect angels, but this was nothing short of disgraceful.

The fine seems a little excessive however he should have known he'd be watched whilst out in NZ.

Yes everyone is entitled to a private life but if you're recently married to the Queen's gand daughter and are subsequently captured on CCTV in a compromising pose with a female you know you're in for more than a little media attention. I think the fact that he was vague when questioned about his whereabouts on that night seems to have inflamed those in power at the RFU. I also can't imagine the 'testicling' (not sure if the auto censor will allow the word bollocking) he had off his missus though!

A total disgrace plus the fact that he wasn't worth his place in the sqad in the first place in my opinion).

He is a professional sportsman and should act like one and remember people travelled to the other side of the world to support the side for which he played and paid hard earned cash.

well i wouldn't, not that way inclined, if you are paid to do a job, then that's what you do. Sportsmen/women are no different, and this was at the highest level you can get.

There's obviously more to this than meets the eye. Tindall comes across as an arrogant buffoon at best, but for him to have been ditched in the manner he was suggests there were major issues involving him and the rest of the team.

The man who should walk is Rob Andrew.
