Not sure about that, but he masterminded a moderately talented England team with a great degree of Italian defensive nous to defeat the best team in the world. And his compatriot in Dublin has steered his band of England B string players to Euro 2012. And both yet scant respect for their efforts (regardless of what they may look like).
"Up and at 'em 'Arry" may be the next England manager, but he'll be no more successful than his predecessors unless England start developing more gifted footballers.
