Battery charging

I recently purchased a laptop for use only in my static van whilst I'm away, and as I will not be going away again until April next year, should I be charging the battery up on a regular basis as you would say an electric golf trolley battery, to save any deterioration, Thanks in advance, Clasher

Excercising it is the key to long battery life.

Preferably try to keep using it. Otherwise, remove it - a lithium-ion battery won't harm for that long.
