I think no 9 is Robin Jackman. Born in India, played for England, banned by West Indies for playing in South Africa.

No 7 - each of them played test cricket for a country other than his country of birth and died in a different country. For example, Jardine was born in India, played for England and died in Switzerland. Bob Woolmer was also born in India, played for England but died in the West Indies.

6) This was an example of what is known in statistics as Simpson's Paradox.
In both innings Macartney's bowling average (21.50 & 1.50) was better, but in the match as a whole, Noble (32.00 & 3.50) had the edge, averaging 7.57 to Macartney's 8.17.

I suspect no 4 relates to women's international matches held in England in 2011. I recall that several grounds which are no longer on the county circuit were used.
