I thought, when football grounds had to have all seater stadiums that the crowd had to sit down. The match on TV at the moment, they are all standing up behind the goal. Surely this could be dangerous.

Dangerous how?

It happens at every game where there is all seater stadia, nothing new.
We have non seating areas at Inverness CT, however if the ball goes by the goalkeeper into the stand a local sheep hods it back into play ?

Top league grounds must have seating to get rid of crush-barriers. Maybe ground capacity? Goes back to the Hillsbough:99 Liverpool fans were crushed dead when police opened gates to thousands of late arrivals. Enquiry, went for seating and Mrs Thatcher supported it with the idea that football was a sport to be viewed by: "the family"! Result: clubs' capacity down, income down and now bankruptcies. Fans always preferred standing.
