Can I fly a blue ensign ?

Hope somebody can help? I want too buy a new ensign for my yacht as the old one is a bit battered. Am I entitled too fly a blue one? I was in the royal navy for 6 years but was not an officer I am not a member of any yacht club or organisation like rnsa or do I just get another red one???

Another red one ? Well, yes, i see why you'd prefer a blue one. And you could fly a defaced red ensign, which is classy, though not 'naval', if you belonged to The Royal Norfolk or one of the very few other yacht clubs entitled to it.
