Soft saddles for bicycles
7 Answers
My 50 year old daughter likes to cycle long distances for her health and for charity. She avoids getting saddle-sore by using a special saddle filled with liquid.
I thought I would pass this on in case it is of interest to anyone.

I loved our local Chiltern Hills and I once cycled down to relatives on the south coast then back the next day. Thought nothing of it then!
We always accepted though that the most comfortable bike saddle is a hard one. After some time soft saddles cause chafing and sores but you can cycle all day on a hard seat. It's that same with car seats. A soft seat is fine for 30 minutes but if you drive all day then a hard bench-type seat is most practical.
