Bradley wiggins should get it for the 'tour de france' alone, cycling's biggest and most coveted prize.

doctorb ...

Once Nigel Mansell had won it, I think everyone realised that the award didn't require any actual "personality".
doctorb.........good point..BUT it hasn't.

Boy comes from Ethiopia, problem child at school, reformed by sport and then achieves something that only Emil Zatopeck and Lassi Viren had achieved.....10.000metre and 5,000metres gold.

A true "personality."
poor old nigel, he just needs a couple of pints and then he's a right laugh.
Is the chap who overcame a drug problem not a nominee?
Any one from these three would be a deserving Winner ....Bradley Wiggins, Mo Farah or Jessica Ennis.
The Olympics were a huge success so it's only right that the winner is chosen from the Games
can we vote more than once.
Mo, for the reasons given by Sqad. An amazing achievement (and I like his personality more than Wiggins)
For some unexplained reason I find Mo's missus very scarey.............
So does Mo....that's why he runs so fast.
perhaps it's because she is about to give birth any day now, twins as well..
I will just keep on changing my mind so can I have Team GB please?
If it were really about "personality" then little Nicola Adams, the boxer from Leeds would win it hands down!

As it is I voted for Chris Hoy as he's our greatest Olympian and a great personality too. There's plenty of time for the others to win SPOTY once they have acheived what he has.
Christ Hoy has won it before.

I don't think anyone ever gets it twice. There are too many candidates to give it to the same person twice.
He deserves it twice, plus he was in the line up and I voted for him, so there! :-)
:-)

Ya, he deserves it twice.

But ...
Kat Copeland, just for her shocked cry "We've won the Olympics! We're going to be on a stamp!". Great moment and a delightfully impromptu, if odd, first thought.
I agree that if it was actual about "personality" then Nicola Adams would win.

She was just SO jolly.

Especially for someone who'd just been duffed about a bit.

But Jess Ennis was also really lovely when she was interviewed.
We've won the Olympics. We're going to be on a stamp. Strangers are going to lick our back sides!

I liked that too fred.
Bradley Wiggins as he has a personality.

Pendleton blew her last race ever. I think mentally she had already retired when the 1st one went against her.
