Paralympics tickets

it seems just as impossible to get them for the cycling, swimming, athletics, as it did for the main games.

The tickets have been on sales since the beginning, but its only in the last 2 weeks or so, since Olympic fever took hold, that they sold out.

Last time i looked there were tickets left for the Closing Ceremony and for some Excel events . I'm not going but I was lucky enough to go to the main games last week

have tried for both, from early on, absolutely no luck. what seems galling is how many seats that were empty at many of the events. If it's the same at the Paralympics then i reckon the ticketing debacle is to blame

I have tickets for a morning and an evening athletics Em. Got them as soon as they went on sale.

when did you get them? been trying for don't know how long...

did you also get them online, think this is a lost cause..

The friend I`m going with got them online months ago, Em. There was a big rush when the Olympics started and it seems many event have sold out.

My friend bought Paralympic Athletics tickets during the first week of the main games, but they sold millions that week and they're all gone now. Keep an eye out though as they'll sell some off each morning as they come back from the different countries.

Nevertheless, when I went, I sat opposite a block of about 150 empty seats. When I asked about them, they said they were allocated to international guests, none of whom appeared to have turned up!

I suppose they don't know they're not turning up until the event had started and no-one was there. All other blockas were packed to the rafters.

A massive number of tickets for the Paralympics have been shifted on the back of the success of the Olympics. Great news really

it's a bit of a nightmare wait mind you. Long hours just holding on, trying again and again.

i am so pleased for anyone who goes, it will be brilliant..

can anyone give advice on couple of things, those who have been to the Games. As can't find the info from the official website,
can you go into the Games long before your start time as we have
tickets for evening session of the athletics. Say from lunchtime?
what food and drink can you take in, or is it as i read only the stuff from the official sponsors.
is it possible to get tickets whilst in there, as still trying for other events
those showing as unavailable at the moment, but might be on the day.
we are so excited at finally going..
