Why are Man City and Real Madrid in the same group, surely City should be with say Barcelona or a minor winner of their countrys league?

The seedings are based on how you have performed previously in the champions league. City went out last year (their first) at the first group stage so haven't built up enough 'credit' yet.

Man City had to be in the same group as one of the above, it could have been Barca ...........luck of the draw.
