Alarm ringing.
30 Answers
Spent a few hours in Gloucester, got home about 5.15 could hear an alarm going off. Made sure not Motor home, think its coming from next door so came in the house. Couldn't settle so went outside again walked round house, it's coming from our house, looks as if its coming from tv aerial, a real loud beeping noise.
Didn't know what to do. Rang daughter as OH is away, thought SIL might come round (Only a mile away) I was near the beeping when I rang her, suddenly I realised it was coming from the dustbin. Looked inside and burst out laughing. OH strikes again
The noise was from an alarm clock that was going off. As I said OH is away, before he went he tested his alarm clock, he has a special one for the deaf, it vibrates under the pillow as well as beeping. He is really deaf, he hasn't used it in years as he has me to wake him. When he tested it it wouldn't work so he put it in the bin. He ordered a new one and paid £8 extra so it could be couriered to get it in time for him going on Friday. I don't understand though why it would ring today seeing as it has been in the bin since Tuesday.
One of lifes little mysteries.

We like Gloucester. Did you visit the new "more than a pound" shop, B&M?

He has just phoned me, said I owe you an apology, when he got the new alarm clock I said check it out, put it under a cushion and see if you can feel the vibrations. No need says he. He has just told me he didn't set it correctly last night, alarm didn't go off, he woke at 9.20 and due to meet the rest of the group at 9.45. When he didn't show at breakfast they phoned him and even hammered on the door but because he didn't have his hearing aid in he never heard them. They missed the train and had to get a later one. Went to the boat trip place and discovered there were no trips today as it was being used for a wedding. So they went for lunch instead. Got back to hotel too late for dinner as stopped serving at 8.00 p.m. So today no breakfast, no dinner included in hotel stay, had to pay £6 to park as he went to wrong carpark.
He isn't safe to be let out on his own. When I told him about the alarm beeping in the bin he wasn't happy as he had spent £32 on a new one (plus delivery £8). What next I wonder.
