Can't Find These Answers

I am stuck on two sports quiz questions Can anyone please help. 1. Whose only test cricket cap was withdrawn ? 2. In which year were the FINAL top 5 places in the formula 1 championship taken by Brits ?. Both questions are recorded word for word. I have researched both questions as well as I can especially the second one and can't find this ever happening Am I missing something obvious ?

Actually the Quiz section is for Quizzes- there is a separate section for Crosswords. I think it's a grey area though as to where questions relating to a specific topic should be placed- for example if a quiz is all about music then there's more chance of Sports experts seeing it in sport, but if it's part of a wider quiz you may find other people who have done it hang out in Quizzes. I wouldn't worry.

Thank you all for your help. I had checked 1958 for the formula one question myself and found an American called Harry Schell was joint 5th and in the book that I have he was placed above P. Collins, so I thought that would eliminate that year, as technically they didn't hold all five places completely. I know it seems like splitting hairs, but this is a notoriously difficult, funny quiz I'm doing. However on reflection it has to be that year, because the Brits never really get that close again. Can anyone please explain how to nominate a best answer. I have tried but nothing seems to happen. CHEERS

Is number 1 Alan Jones of Glamorgan? Opened the batting in his only "Test" for England v Rest of World in 1970. I believe it was subsequently decreed that these England v RoW matches were not to be regarded as official Tests.
