Ok, I know most of us with any rugby knowledge are expecting a cricket score in this one and rightly so. England have been utterly dominant thus far in the campaign.
Italy have Parisse back after his ban was reduced on appeal but not even one of the best No. 8's in world rugby will prevent what should be a try-fest this afternoon.
That said, hopefully the current inclement weather will prove to be 'a great leveller' as both sides equally succumb to the perils of the elements.

Forza Italia!

Oh dear......
phew......well played Italy - good physicality. Should wake England up a bit for next week.
Yes. One of the largest England "try-fests" I've seen in many a year !!!
Italy deserved to win and England were lucky.
Every Grandslam winner have had their poor game during the series.

Had England won by 20-25 points then i would back Wales.

Next week is a different ball game...a young England team......learned from the game and i back England to beat Wales.
Pass the hat round for Toby Flood.

To be fair NJ, when you're 1/250 to win, one might have expected England to cut loose in a manner befitting such belief.

England supporters must feel massively let down. How does a team got from destroying the AB's in the autumn to that sorry effort we've just witnessed?
sign of a good team when you can play as orly as that and still win.
poorly
The scoreline means everything actually. It was never going to be a 'cricket score'. I agree England weren't very good but I suspect they'll be happy enough. And it tempers expectations for next week. I just hope Italy maintain their record of not being able to play well two weeks running. And that Ireland manage to find 15 fit players!
Parisse is wonderful tho.
I don't watch rugby but didn't Italy beat France?..They can't be that bad!
I was at the game and believe me the Italians really made us defend in the 2nd half, their defence was excellent and I even had the feeling that they could snatch a draw. I think this has done us a lot of good for next week. If we had a walk over I'd be worried against Wales, as it is, grand slam comming!
