Rip to the 56 Bradford City fans who died in the stadium fire at Valley Parade today in 1985.

Was disappointed that the FA couldn't find the time to mark it during their showcase event, was expecting a minute's silence before kick off tbh.

RIP. This day will never be forgotten.
I was going to post this at around 3:30 (When I believe that the fire was first detected). It was quite a disturbing thing for a 12 year-old to witness on Grandstand, and it's stayed with me ever since. A tragedy for Football and for all the families concerned.

R.I.P. the 56. gone but never forgotten.
I remember it well, RIP.
My uncle was a police officer in attendance and had his hands badly burned and suffered psychologically also I think. I will be wearing my BCFC Wembley t shirt today.
I ycame across the video of that on Youtube a couple of weeks ago. Terrible scenes and an awful tragedy.

RIP 56

I watched the smoke from my mums flat
I was pregnant at the time and I'm pleased to say both my boys have gone back to Bradford this morning for the memorial
Good to hear Clive Tyldesley mention it during half-time in the F.A. Cup Final.
