Morning, guys. Yesterday, Wales beat Austria, Haudenosaunee beat Ireland, Scotland beat Japan, and Israel beat New Zealand (wow!)

So the Quarter Finals now look like this ...

Haudenosaunee v US

Wales v ENGLAND

Scotland v AUSTRALIA

Israel v CANADA

I've put in capitals the teams I'd expect to win.

Wales and England play at 3.00pm local time ... 8.00pm our time.

no, we only have JJ's word for it that it's happening at all. In fact I can't be sure that lacrosse exists.

jno ... yes, England played Wales in the Group stage ... we were both in Pool A. Now we have them again in the Quarter Final.

Cloverjo ... the media coverage is absolutely rubbish. What we need is more women running newspapers and TV stations. The blokes who run them at the moment are more interested in which football managers might, or might not, have made a bid for players who may, or may not, move clubs in the summer. Enthralling stuff ... not!
