Hard to turn down but is he worth more than Ronaldo?
IMHO - no. Ronaldo's stats are 2nd only to Messi in La Liga and I don't think Bale will come anywhere close.

I'd prefer it if he stayed for at least one more season but if they're willing to pay that much then they can have him.

Just hope Levy doesn't sell him on deadline day and miss out on bringing in a decent striker

@ Elvis - Yep, thats the kicker. Frankly, I cannot work out how player values are established any more :) But if they were to offer a sum close to that, I think Spurs would find it very difficult to turn down....

I think it will go through, the arrogance of Real Magrid is such that they can get anyone they want at any cost. I for one hope he does stay in the Premiership for at least one more season which he might like Ronaldo did at United slight difference was though Ronaldo was injured.

Bale is no way as good Ronaldo, but its what they're willing to pay, as above Arrogance.

i personally hope he stays at Spurs but looks unlikely now, he's had his head turned by Real Madrid with their aggressive tactics! They think they can just charge in and buy anybody whatever the consequences. If i was Daniel Levy i would make them wait and screw as much as possible from them! they still owe Spurs £12million for Luca Modric, so i would try and get at least £100million..if they want Gareth Bale then they should pay
