Does anyone know a good place for plane spotting at EMA other than the aero park which is only open a couple of times a week during the winter?

Hiya, if you go to the opposite end of the airport from the aeropark there is a small turning at the end of the runway off the A453 (near the kegworth turning)(have a peek on google earth). You can park there, then walk anti-clockwise round the bottom of the runway and you'll find a raised area near the end of the taxi-way where aircraft turn onto runway 27.
My other half goes there a bit, if you click on this link to his youtube videos of the planes landing, it might give you an idea of where he films from (the hill lets you be higher than the fence so you get a really good view):
P.s there is a dog walk all the way around too if you have a hound that doesn't mind the noise :-)
