I haven't been there, but it looks lovely.

If you're there during the Games, of course it will be on all the tellys in all the bars. I wonder who the Italians have got in the Biathlon? Lee and Amanda are both in the army. If the Italian competitors are in the Italian army, they will probably end up skiing back to the starting line.

I gather the challenge is to attempt to ski the entire via lattea (Oulx to Mongenevre) in one day. perfectly possible I'm sure, but not for a quasi-geriatric like me. :-0

a possibly helpful hint

When you highlight a picture on Google Images like that there's a little tab next to it saying "View image". If you click on this it shows you just the single image without the millions of others all aruond, and it will give you a much shorter URL to cut and paste.
