It would appear that some of you would have preferred it if Mark Selby had stood toe to toe with Ronnie O'Sullivan and lost 18 -4 or some such one-sided score. Just read the first few lines of the 'question author'. "He is sooo boring and lucky as well, every time he misses he leaves nothing or he leaves Ronnie in a snooker." Boo bloody hoo! And note the familiar use of the Christian name without the surname. (Posters on the bedroom wall, perchance?) And i guess some of you may be talking out of your pockets. Snooker is not all about potting, safety is just as much a part of the game - hence the name Snooker. And, when the safety play is as good as it was from Selby, it makes for a fascinating contest.

Well said methyl, I think you are the first person to say you play the game,
I to have played at a good level of snooker for some 45 years, so like me
I think you understand the game, safety is a big part of the game. These are
not exhibition matches they are World Title matches, I am sure Ronnie has safety
shots in his locker, at the end of the day Mark won more frames and you don't do that
playing all safety shots.
