I am not any kind of sports fan but that is good news.
I hope it is good news. But the extent of his injuries might be such that they'll change his life.
That is great news, I wish him and his family all the best and hope he makes a full recovery.
the news is very misleading, he's still in a vegetative state and is unlikely to come out of it :-(
Yes, I was pleased to hear on the news he is out of his coma but that isn't really telling us much is it. Hopefully we'll hear more over the coming days. I wish him all the best.
Great news, as you say, but the likelihood of anything like a full recovery is minimal.
My mate was in a coma for 18 months. He killed himself a few years after.
No-one knows the extent of his injuries one way or the other, the Schumachers are a very private family who don't want people in the know whilst he makes whatever recovery he can. I think it's pointless to speculate but he certainly is't vegetative as he is responding to touch and making efforts at communication. Whilst I doubt he'll make anything like a full recovery or is sitting up on bed chatting to his wife, it's still very early days yet and he might well be able to return to some limited quality of life eventually. I certainly hope so.
Sorry cross posted Ummm- my post was t answer paullambert.
My friend made, what some might say, a full recovery. He never really though, not mentally. He became paranoid but....he didn't have the wealth.
