In the FIFA world rankings Uruguay are 7th, Italy are 9th, England are 10th, and Costa Rica 28th.

Yet Costa Rica beat both Uruguay and Italy, whereas England could not beat either.

Football eh !

ps. Also never realised before that Costa Rica were in the same group as 3 previous winners of the World Cup, but still managed to qualify.
