Anyone Want A Game Of Badminton?

Is there anyone in the Bedfordshire area who would like a game of Badminton tomorrow? Our usual opponents have had to cancel. He's a hush hush civil servant who has to go away at unspecified times to do specific things.(As well as drinking tea.)

We will still play but it's chuffing hard work playing singles and, having been away for two weeks, I am not fit!

Yep, wouldn't mind a game of badminton, haven't played it for a few years now. Used to enjoy it.

I can't play badminton, it is so annoying. that feathered thing never goes where you want it to. OH did has back in the last time he played. So I'm afraid we'll have to pass.

Those tea drinking Civil Servants are always going missing when you need them, usually at the loo half the time.

AYG, I have only just got used to the shuttlecock not behaving like a tennis ball. You think the thing is going out of court, and it doesn't, and you've lost a point!

Do you play the gentle game where you flick the shuttlecock up in a gentle arc over the net, or the vicious one where you jump and hammer it downwards?

A bit of both Hopkirk. Tonight may just be a gentle game though. The vicious game is hard to maintain for an hour.
