Baseball Managers And Coaches!!

Anyone got any idea why Baseball Managers and Coaches (Batboys, Ballboys and just about everybody else!) get dressed up in the full team kit?

It seems a bit ridiculous to see fat old guys all decked out like the players!

Probably traditional.

Probably for the same reason that fat old men (and women) go to football matches in the club strip adorned with the name of their favourite player. When I was a kid only the poorest of the poor would be seen outdoors dressed like that as it marked down the parents as too poor to afford proper street clothes.
