Not anti Lewis? Yeah right!

You keep pushing the agenda angie, Lewis is doing just fine. Has hunted Nico down, out-driven him and now we will see how Nico responds when he has 'technical issues'.
As for BRIGHT SPARK's assessment on that thread:
Chill...if Lewis is the better driver then please explain the big difference in 2014 pole starts....or is that the fault of someone else also..:-)
You may want to re-evaluate that when you now look at the number of poles each has had this season, in tandem with wins.

Lets just hope that there are no more realibility issues .
The slate has been wiped clean ( almost ) - now lets start again and have a winner based on purely the driving talent of both drivers .
By the way angie55 - every season there is nearly always one team who happens to have the 'best 'car - there is nothing unsual there - remember Ferrari - Shumacer / Red bull - Vettel - that's the nature of the formula , as is the case with numerous other motor racing championships , the world over .
Further , you may have the 'best' car , however you still need the talent to drive it to it's full potential ,and pull out performances , when needed - as did Lewis yesterday

ChillDoubt - as usual Lewis's number one fan and seemingly blind to all his indiscretions. Also completely unsurprising that there has been nothing like the same level of sadness when Nico has mechanical issues as there is from you when poor Lewis is similariy affected. You need to listen to what Lewis says more carefully and maybe you'll realise he's not the team player he's made out to be. Remember, I am well aware of what happened at McLaren where Fernando was made to be the bad guy, but he wasn't the one that started the trouble. Another case of Lewis being the team player (not).
Bastille - I'm well aware there is usually one dominant car. My point was that it wasn't that special a drive in view of the fact he had such a superior car. Now if he'd pulled a similar gap on the other Mercedes, that would have been impressive. Sadly, mechanical issues prevented the possibility of seeing that. I agree that I hope the title is not decided by mechanical issues. I also hope that the title is not decided by the double points race.

Nope, call me jingoistic but I tend to want a Brit to win! LOL
As I said on the other thread, Lewis doesn't get on the radio and b!tch to the team that he's not getting his own way. Why doesn't Nico ever move over when Lewis is clearly faster?
As for the reliability issues, when Nico suffers the same amount as Lewis has, when Lewis parks the car to prevent a faster pole and takes Nico out with a ridiculous manoeuvre that was never on and Nico STILL comes back to take a lead in the championship THEN I will be impressed.

Well it's unlikely that Hamilton would have been able to do that ( and vice versa Rosberg ) if rosberg had not had had problems - is it ? .
Afterall they have got the same car , with the same performance .

So remind me of any time this season when Lewis has complained about Nico for good driving(Bahrain) or has asked why Nico isn't moving over(Hungary).
Can't say I've heard Lewis telling the team NOT to tell him the gap to his team mate when under pressure.
I'll await that answer with bated breath.....

I admire your allegiance to a Brit, but your blinkers are not enabling you to see what's been going on before and now.

Strangely, there seem to be an awful lot of people(not just Brits) and well informed F1 fans who have booed Nico on the podium on more than one occasion, so I can only surmise that they too have seen what has been going on in regards to whinging and 'tactics' by Nico and have reached the same conclusion.

Call it team orders or a team request, but the team player ( Lewis) ignored them in Hungary. And yes, he's got form in that respect. When they were team mates, he was asked to let Fernando past in qualifying and refused. His reason....he didn't think he could let Fernando past and not prevent Massa from passing him as well. Not saying much for such a sublime talent. Actually it was a pathetic excuse as Lewis was on a slowing down lap anyway. Yes, the perfect team player!
Like Lewis said, why move over? They were both challenging for the F1 title and still are.
If Nico is such a good driver, as Lewis said "I'll let him by when he gets close enough!"
Strange that Lewis has never made such a request when quicker and catching(which is pretty much every race) but then you didn't appear to answer that question either when I asked it on the other thread.
What happened to Nico not following the ultimate team order?: You can both race but you are to ensure that there is NO collision.
Care to answer that one?
And you claim Lewis isn't the team player? Puleeeeeez!
