If only I had SkySports2. I was in the school netball team (Goal Def.) and later played at night-school for a (much faster) team as the game developed. Now, my elder daughter (ex-national-level heptathlete) plays for 5 teams as GK (High Jump was her speciality) and 9-yr-old granddaughter is enthralled and I hope will take it up.

Really glad that the game is getting some exposure at last - it needs a lot more. Even OH hadn't a clue about it (there have been exhaustive seminars!).

I don't know too much about the modern set-up - but the 'Jets' come into it locally. Go on ladies!

The coverage gets better each year. It used to be on SkySports4 at about 11.00pm.

Thanks Jogger J - I have a lot to catch up with. Back in March! Knac*ered actually with cleaning and sorting - will probably sleep until May! Rather flattered by your accolade, my only real claim to fame is coming 3rd in UK rankings for vet. ladies High Jump - and it wasn't very high!!

Netball just reminds me of the complete misery of playing at school.
Cold and damp but not bad enough for indoor games. Concrete covered in gravel. Still beat the scars. Only 5'2" now. Even smaller then. Only got knocked out once though.
