With Arsenal on such fantastic form knocking Manchester United out of the FA cup and winning 3-0 to West Ham in the Premier league. Will theses giants rise to the occasion in the Champions league this evening?

I hope they do but even though they are playing very well at the moment I can't see it happening.
I'm a Man Utd fan but always want the British teams to do well in international competitions, unlike the 'anyone but Utd brigade.'

Well said Craft, I know you're a fellow United supporter, Likewise I always get behind Brittish clubs in Europe... I do however have a bitter taste about Arsenal at the moment. Having said that I hope they do well.. can't see it though.

Arsenal were very poor in that match. They won because they were gifted the winning goal from a terrible back pass to the goalkeeper. I doubt Monaco will be so generous.

Probably totally wrong but I have backed both teams to score in the first half at 100/30. If ( and, unfortunately, it is a big if ) Arsenal get through I will not mind the bet going down. I write as a long-standing, long-suffering Newcastle fan.
