Just watching the Rugby from Twickers, I notice that the French players have a small St. George's flag on the middle of their jerseys. What's that about, a courtesy to the hosts or what?

Apparently some teams have a different Jersey for each game with the flag of the country they are playing on it. ( or so I have just been informed)
How nice !
Yes - if you look at any of the team jerseys today, the flag of the team they are playing is shown. I've noticed it in a lot of international matches.
Who won, what was the score? No mention on news & Ive been at work, so missed it :(
Oh, well done Englang! Thanx Arky, wish I cudda watched it but alas :(

Thanks for all your answers, sorry I didn't reply before, I got taken into hospital Saturday evening, suspected heart attack. OK now though, false alarm, angiogram shows a bit of arterial damage, and I'm home now. Yes, I think that's rather a nice courtesy, showing the colours of the host team, sort of thing I like to think is typical of the Rugby world.
