Good Luck Bournemouth Fc
I don't follow football but sending good luck to Bournemouth tonight - if they win it will guarantee promotion to the premier league for the first time ever. Keep your fingers crossed - unless you're a Bolton wanderers fan??

I think Bournemouth's goal difference advantage is 19 goals.
So if Bournemouth lost, their advantage would go down to 18 or fewer.
So Boro winning by 19 would put them above Bournemouth.
And for each additional goal by which Charlton beat Bournemouth, Boro would need one fewer against Brighton.
So, if Bournemouth lost 10-0, and Boro won 10-0, Boro would be promoted.
I think Bournemouth should be worried.

Tora, heavens, you are kidding, yes?
Scupper the prospects of a fellow South coast team, when we are playing the Northern monkeys??
We will defend the honour of the South coast by giving Middlesbrough a jolly good spanking. Besides, we owe them one, because they beat us at the Amex.
We South coasties stick together.

Mind you, this has just popped up on my Facebook page (From Sky Sports):
How do the Premier League newcomers compare to Manchester United?
Seasons in England's top flight - 0 vs 90, Stadium capacity - 12,000 vs 75,635, Transfer record - £3m vs £59.7m.....
I seriously hope whoever wrote that article gets fired, and I vow to support AFC Bournemouth as my Premier League team next season.

StephenG; It's what the media love to do with 'small' clubs who make it to the Prem. When Burnley hosted Chelsea in our first home game of the season, the commentator repeatedly informed the viewer that the Chelsea side cost 40 times more than the Clarets. Then, a few games later, when we faced Man Utd and they brought on Angel De Maria, the same commentator told us that his transfer fee of £60m was more than Burnley had spent - in their entire existence. I think the Cherries will have to get used to it.
