Okay, enough frivolity. Down to serious business.
England v Trinidad and Tobago
It's being shown LIVE on Sky Sports tonight ... "Sky Netball" or something.
First Centre Pass at 7.00pm
Clearly a bottle of wine and some popcorn will be required.

I thought the flagpole issue might be "raised" (geddit?)
Wouldn't the "front" of the flag have the ties for the flagpole on the left? So, on the edge of the flag made to be attached to the pole, the broad bit of the white, blah blah?
So, even in the absence of a pole, if the flag has been made to be flown, either the flag is upside down, or Maggie is standing behind the flag?

yes but that would be the right if you where looking from the other side. See here for example: http:// cdn.ima ges.exp ress.co .uk/img /dynami c/1/285 x214/49 04_1.jp g
This comes up all the time, when the ignorant try to be clever, the presence of the pole is what makes it the right/wrong way up. When painted or a lone flag often seen at sporting events it is always the right way up.
