Cross Trainer Or Rowing Machine

18 months to loose between 75-100 lbs. perfectly do able.. I don't get much time to myself so can't go to the gym. I'm limited for space so I'm wanting the best for a full body work out. Baring in mind I'm starting at 245lbs! Although the cross trainer says it's a low cardiovascular workout but still good for working off calories. Does that mean theoretically I could last longer on that than a rowing machine? I'm swaying more to the

Years past when I actually used to go to the gym (!) I use to find the rowing machine hard going. I'd suspect the cross trainer is easier to stay enthusiastic about, regarding using it regularly. But I may be wrong.
